We equipped Calvary Chapel with advanced door access units that send voice and video feeds directly to the desktop phones and mobile apps of office staff. This enables staff to monitor and communicate with visitors at the main entrance from anywhere. Whether it\u2019s an Amazon delivery or a scheduled appointment, staff can visually verify and communicate with visitors\u2014and unlock the door if necessary. If they’re away from their desks, they can handle everything directly from their mobile app. This flexibility allows staff to move freely around the office while staying secure and connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call Control and Call Screening<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

During counseling sessions or study times, pastors at Calvary Chapel need uninterrupted focus. To support this, calls don\u2019t ring directly to pastoral staff but go to other team members, who can answer or transfer calls as needed. Pastors also have a \u201cDo Not Disturb\u201d setting to ensure privacy when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intelligent Call Routing by Time of Day<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

For efficient call handling, incoming calls during office hours ring to all staff phones. The first available team member answers the call, and if everyone\u2019s busy, the call routes to an Auto Attendant. This attendant offers options for the caller to hear the church\u2019s address and service times, leave a prayer request, or leave a general message for staff. After-hours calls automatically route to the Auto Attendant with similar options, ensuring that callers receive appropriate guidance and options regardless of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer Line<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We configured a dedicated voicemail for prayer requests. Messages left here are emailed directly to the volunteer team managing prayer requests, providing a respectful and private channel for those seeking support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobile <\/strong>Communication<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our church communication solution includes a mobile app, enabling staff to make and receive calls as if they\u2019re in the office, even while on campus or offsite. Staff can stay reachable without sharing personal cell numbers, and outbound calls from the app display the church\u2019s number\u2014preserving staff privacy while maintaining accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMS Texting<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Using group text messaging from their main number, Calvary Chapel stays in touch with the congregation. Church members can text the main number, and staff can respond either from their mobile app or an online messaging portal, ensuring quick and unified communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
